Resources/Additional community support options
If you ever wonder and need additional resources, I’ve done my best to compile several within St. Johns County, primarily focused on adolescents, but several listed are for adult populations as well.

Mobile Response Team (MRT): if your child is in a heightened emotional state and you fear their safety, your safety, or their thoughts and actions regarding potential suicide, this team will come out to your home 24/7 to assess and do their best to aid in next steps for your child, potentially warding off a Baker Act if not necessary. If deemed necessary, they will help with providing recommendations and supporting you throughout this process. Serving ages 25 years old and younger.
